Retailers Market Place 2020

Convenient, Affordable & Close to Home

March 1 & 2

About Us

We have officially moved the Lansing Gift Show to Birch Run.

The new event is;

Retailers Market Place

At the Frankenmuth Credit Union Event Center

Sunday & Monday, March 1 & 2, 2020

Birch Run, MI exit 136, I-75

This is the previously named “Birch Run Expo Center” immediately off exit 136, I-75 where the Birch Run Outlet Stores are.

Show hours are:

Sunday March 1, 9am-6pm

Monday March 2, 9am-5pm

Almost all of our exhibitors from the last show have already committed to space.  Consequently, we have already filled all 152 booth spaces of the North Hall and have now spilled into the South Hall with another 33 booths added.   As of 1-7-2020 only 8 of those remain open.  So space is already limited.

The reasons for leaving Lansing were;

In a nut shell, Paid Parking.  No one likes it.  It can get expensive and if Lansing Center had other events in-house with us, we ran the risk of our buyers having to use alternative parking decks a long walk away.

Also, One-way, Downtown Streets.

Restricted building access and vendor move-in/out and Buyers loading immediate delivery product.

We are excited about the new venue for the following reasons:

More than ample FREE parking immediately outside our door for buyers and exhibitors.

Ease of access.  You literally fall into this venue upon leaving exit 136, I-75.  No one-way streets.

Larger show floor with flexibility to grow.  There are two large rooms.  Both of which are bigger than the single room we were using in Lansing as of late.

This show will follow the same format we used in Lansing, combining order-writing with some cash and carry but going to a two-day show.  This smaller footprint will make more efficient use of everyone’s time.  It also puts the show on a smaller foot print time-wise so securing future dates at venues will be easier.

We will again be allowing cash and carry to take place at the show.  While those vendors will be dispersed across the show floor somewhat, the bigger booths with more C & C needs will be concentrated around the perimeter of the room whenever possible.

Anyway, that’s it – its official.  We truly hope you will participate in the move to Birch Run.   Everyone we spoke with beforehand was in favor of the move and let’s face it, Downtown Lansing was hard to navigate for a show like ours.  We just need to be more “convenient and easy access” for our people.

The new Show website can viewed at

I believe this fresh start will attract new interest from our audience.  I hope you will visit us.

Thank you
